On February 9, 2019, in Hokkaido Prefecture, 10 stations (which are Chitose with -25.4℃, Memanbetsu with -27.0℃, Monbetsukomukai with -23.9℃, Rausu with -17.3℃, Akankohan with -30.7℃, Teshikaga with -26.7℃, Tsuruoka with -22.7℃, Taiki with -29.8℃, Obihiroizumi with -29.6℃ and Erimomisaki with -12.1℃.

On February 8, 2019, in Hokkaido Prefecture, 8 stations (which are Rebun with -17.1℃, Motodomari with -16.6℃, Yagishiri with -14.8℃, Kamoenai with -13.8℃, Tsuruoka with -21.5℃, Obihiroizumi with -27.4℃, Taiki with -29.2℃ and Mori with -18.8℃) temperatures reached record lows since records began.

Fukui City saw 136 cm of snow at 2pm on February 6, 2018

Fukui City saw 136 cm of snow at 2pm on February 6, 2018, the heaviest snowfall in 37 years !
The amount of snowfall for this day alone was 54 cm and it was the tenth in Fukui City since records began in January 1953.
